Leopold Library: Construction process taking shape.

Leopold's $8 million Community Hub is well underway with Stage 2 completion dates set for late November to early December. This exciting new civic centre will provide the rapidly expanding Leopold area with fantastic new community services.

The Stage 2 phase of development includes a new library, youth area, public open space and multi-purpose community rooms. Once complete this benchmark Community Hub will not only be a gathering space for special events it will also be a place for learning, education and training. This state-of-the-art community hub will house the Leopold Community and Learning Centre and the Leopold Seniors.  

MultiTek Solutions has successfully procured the Audio Visual Technical Equipment Contract to supply and install the Leopold Library's new AV System. MTS is Liaising closely with the Geelong Regional Library Corporation to develop an AV system with multiple input capabilities that are user-friendly and reliable.

Other significant components factored into the AV network include audio reinforcement, connection to BCA approved hearing assistance, wireless presentation, audio functionality and visual projection.

The two-level complex on Kensington Road is beginning to take shape with the library situated on the ground-floor level. Once completed, the library will house thousands of new items and is expected to attract thousands of weekly visitors.

MultiTek Solutions is thrilled to be providing Audio Visual solutions for this library and for what will undoubtedly be the centrepiece of Leopold's much awaited Community Hub.
