The Geelong College Junior School is currently undergoing a metamorphosis. New buildings are now under construction around the existing Campbell House classrooms. The new Junior School facilities and Early Learning Centre form part of the College's 30-year strategic study, a master plan that endeavours to create a learning facility with an accompanying environment reflective of 21st-century student learning and well-being.
MultiTek Solutions successfully acquired the Audio Visual Technical Equipment Contract to consult and collaborate with The Geelong College, Marshall Day Entertech and John Wardle Architects to design and implement AV Solutions for this exciting new project.
This project is a large scale, multi-stage construction with the first phase being a state-of-the-art multipurpose space catering to school productions, presentations and various school functions.
The college's new buildings will nestle gently in the landscape in such a way that the existing trees shall remain. The snaking configuration of the 'learning ateliers' will not only optimise any light coming in from the south but will also enable expansive views across the beautiful recreation grounds.
MultiTek Solutions has enjoyed creating the Audio Visual Systems package for this exciting project and looks forward to seeing the completion of the new and expanded Junior School campus.
