Barwon Water employees will now operate under the one roof! The 'new-look' Barwon Water head office "Ryrie HQ" has bright, open floor spaces and fresh, modern amenities that will now accommodate all Barwon Water employees.
The old Ryrie St building was recently stripped out to make way for a rejuvenated building that's reflective of today's corporate values, and personality. Sustainability is an integral aspect of the new facility with design elements that attempt to minimise environmental impact while simultaneously meeting its occupants' various needs.
The redevelopment is now complete with plans in place to also close the ageing South Geelong complex. The consolidation of all staff to "Ryrie HQ" will represent a new phase in the life of Barwon Water.
MultiTek Solutions was engaged by Barwon Water to complete the final stage of the Audio Visual Infrastructure. The first-floor function space was fitted out with multiple screens and projectors designed to enhance sound and video quality for corporate events and staff training activities. MultiTek Solutions also installed various pendant mount speakers from the higher-ceiling structures; these high-quality speakers are perfect for distributing sound evenly from a great height.
The rejuvenated building is a multi-functional space where Barwon Water will consolidate all their corporate activities. Hopes are for the building to achieve a five-star energy rating that is both cost-effective and sustainable to run. With more collaborative workspaces it is also hoped there will be an increase in staff productivity and engagement.
