CENTRE PROJECT SUMMARY

Geelong now has its very own Skills and Jobs Centre located at Westfield in Geelong's CBD. The centre provides a valuable range of services for those experiencing retrenchment or unemployment. Career advisors offer assistance with interview and resume preparation along with job market information, career coaching, and career transition workshops.

MultiTek Solutions collaborated closely with the Gordon TAFE and numerous other stakeholders to supply and install AV equipment for this impressive facility funded by the Victorian State Government.

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

MultiTek Solutions provided and installed two Samsung digital signage panels for the front windows, complete with built in ‘MagicInfo S3’ players for integration with the existing digital signage network. Furthermore, MultiTek supplied two LG Commercial Lite panels for the showcase room and the meeting room for use as a standard TV for clients to view while they wait. They can also display images from PCs for huddle sessions, presentations, or meetings.

The centre's meeting room has bi-fold doors that separate it from the adjacent training room. The doors can be opened to create a larger meeting space and/or boardroom, and at the touch of a button, the AV systems installed by MultiTek Solutions cleverly combine to accommodate this larger space.

MultiTek Solutions worked productively alongside shop-fitters to ensure work was completed smoothly and quickly and on time. MultiTek provided a distributed audio system to the whole facility for Local radio, and for content provided by the Gordon. Individual zones can be volume controlled or muted, and each user can tap into these speakers via Bluetooth from their phone or another device.
