MultiTek Solutions acquired the Technical Equipment Contract for Geelong Grammar’s School of Performing Arts and Creative Education (SPACE).
The striking $20 million dollar performing arts facility was designed by Peter Elliot Architects and features five key spaces: The David Darling Playhouse, The Bracebridge Wilson Studio, a large multipurpose space, classrooms and an impressive foyer.
With a strong emphasis on creativity the new hub required leading edge AV technology systems that would enhance connectivity between spaces allowing for greater student and teacher interactions. The technology supplied and installed by MultiTek was also required to meet diverse production needs for large-scale musical productions and presentations
Marshall Day Entertech consulted on the technical requirements of the theatrical spaces with MultiTek on board as the AV integrator. The technical services completed by MultiTek Solutions included custom designed and built stage management consoles. MultiTek programmed and installed all complex AV systems throughout the venue.
The project summary is best left to our delighted customer to explain,
“MultiTek Solutions procured the audio visual package for the School of Performing Arts and Creative Education for the Geelong Grammar School at Corio. They provided technical expertise, excellent service, supply and installation throughout this challenging project. Their willingness to assist in coordination with others and provide solutions was outstanding, which made the process for the project team run smoothly. The MultiTek team were always very professional, cooperative and diligent and their courteous manner on site was refreshing. I would recommend MultiTek for any future projects of this nature and look forward to working with them again. “ - JUDE (Associate Architect)
