In 2014 MultiTek Solutions was engaged to work with the Geelong Library’s Digital Services team to develop technical AV designs based on the functional outcomes required for each space in the new $45 million dollar Geelong Library and Heritage Centre.
Technology was key to all aspects of the AV design with a central goal being to shift mindsets and change the culture of how a library is perceived and used. The library boasts 6 technology rich floors with meeting spaces and facilities to engage and interact with technology on many different levels.
MultiTek Solutions tailored Crestron Control and Digital Media Systems for all levels of the library, this ensures video and audio distribution, and the control of these complex systems are seamless and simple for users.
Consistency between all technology systems was imperative to the AV design to ensure reliability and the delivery of content in a range of flexible ways. MultiTek Solutions customised each system specifically for the libraries needs and integrated them centrally to achieve total control of content and functionality from anywhere.
Over the years MultiTek Solutions has developed a solid working relationship with the Geelong Regional Library Corporation and was delighted to be part of this unique landmark development in Geelong’s history.
